This lovely first edition is bound in red cloth with gilt lettering to the spine and the front cover. It is illustrated with 43 black and white photographs. Overall, this book is in good condition. The pages throughout are all clean and bright. There are some marks to the front cover and slight fading to the spine, and the gilt lettering on the spine is slightly dull. The gilt lettering on the front cover remains bright. pp. 289. "Wings of War" is a small part of the extensive aviation collection available at St Mary's Books, both in shop and on our website.
