This hghly regarded glossary of terms served as a critical technical bridge for allied pilots and mechanics during World War I. This copy, is quarter bound in brown cloth with pictorial paper sides. Internally the aviation terms are neatly presented down two columns, and illustrated with several detailed line drawings of planes, with the parts of the aircraft in English and in French. A couple of the line drawings are folding. Towards the rear of the book there is a Catalogue of Latest and Best Mechanical, Scientific and Practical Books. Overall a good copy with the binding a little worn and faded. The pages within are clean. pp. 94 + 22. A rare copy and a lovely addition to any aviation library.
