Capturing the Golden Age of early flight, this book is one of the first comprehensive guidebooks dedicated specifically to international commercial passenger flight. This is a first edition copy, published in 1929. Although complete with its dust jacket, it is in poor condition with a large piece missing to the spine and chipping to the extremities. The pages are clean and profusely illustrated with several black and white photographs, folding plans and a folding coloured map to the front. The folding map has a small closed tear although it is complete. pp. 190. A scarce title particularly with its dust jacket. A good addition to any aviation library.
