This volume captured the rapid evolution of model aviation during an era when the length of model airplane flights multiplied tenfold in a single year. It features numerous photographs and technical diagrams drawn by the author. This is a first edition copy, published in 1911. Handsomely bound in red cloth with pictorial paper on-lay to the front. The book is in very good condition. The binding is bright and clean and shows just a little bumping to the corners and fading to the spine. Two previous owner's book plates to the front end-papers. The rest of the pages are clean. A well looked after copy. pp. xi + 262. A lovely addition to any aviation library.
