The 104th Aero Squadron was a celebrated unit of the United States Army Air Service that served as a battlefield reconnaissance and observation unit on the Western Front during World War I. Formed in 1917, the unit went on to participate in major combat actions, including the St Mihiel Offensive and the Meuse-Argonne Offensive, before being inactivated in 1924. This 1968, privately printed title is bound with red card covers and features black and white photographs and maps. Overall a very good copy despite fading to the covers, the pages appear unread. pp. vi + 146. A must for any aviation enthusiast.
