Bound in an orange cloth hardback "The Mustang I Aeroplane Allison V-1710-F3R Engine" binding, the items in this book are preceded with a hand-written contents. Inside, one finds a 1941 revised edition of General Pilot's Notes published by the Air Ministry, prepared by direction of the Minister of Aircraft Production. This is then followed by Pilot's Notes for Lysanner II, Harvard I & II, Hurricane I, II A, II B, II C, II D, & IV, Mustang I, Spitfire V A, B, C & Seafire I B, II C, III. In addition one finds Ground Handling Notes for Hornet, Skymaster, Meteor, and Silkorsky R4B. These notes are all in good condition, and are complete with cut-out segments of their original paper bindings. These texts are in good condition - many of the cover pages have been trimmed, and there is some minor foxing throughout, as well as some inscriptions from pilots and soldiers. "Hand-Compiled Collection of Rare Pilot's Notes" is looking for a new home and would make for a perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
