Langley's textbook was considered an essential reference for aeronautical engineers. This edition, published in 1934, is the Second, Revised and Enlarged. Signed by E. Percival, to the half title page. Edgar Wikner Percival, founder of The Percival Aircraft Company. This copy is complete with a worn dust jacket. The cloth boards underneath are in good condition although faded to the spine with fraying to the top and base. The pages are clean and illustrated with several diagrams and photographic images. pp. x + 338 + 22 +2. Overall a good copy and a must for any aviation enthusiast.
