English Electric Co. LTD Aircraft Service School, historically located at Samlesbury Airfield, was a vital institution dedicated to training ground crews, engineers, and technicians, on the operation, maintenance, and repair of iconic early jet aircraft. The school was essential for training both internal personnel and customers, including the Royal Air Force. This copy bound with navy card covers with titles printed in white to the front, is in good condition, however, there is wear and discolouration to the covers, consistent with the manual's age and use. The title page has four signatures, to the top right hand corner, past students, no doubt !. The rest of the pages are clean, with the occasional thumb mark and curling to the corners. Illustrated with several dagrams, some folding and a few with pen notation. A fascinating manual and a must for any aviation enthusiast.
