Published in the late 1920's this Air Publication, number 1273, is an Official British Air Ministry technical manual. This edition provides comprehensive instructions for the Avro, Type 504N, Aeroplane, specifically when equipped with the 180 h.p. Armstrong Siddeley Lynx radial engine. It is the definive guide for ground crew and pilots. This copy, published in November 1929 is bound with orange card covers. It displays some wear, consistent with its age, including three library stamps to the front cover. Internally there is an ink stamp and inscription to the front free end-paper, as well as some repair to one of the folding maps. The pages, otherwise are clean. pp. 38. A scarce copy and a must for any aviation enthusiast.
