This edition, published in 1945 is a technical manual providing a detailed look at British variable-pitch propellor technology during the World War II era. It was written specifically to educate both pilots and ground engineers on the mechanics, maintenance, and flight operations of these systems. Our First Edition copy, published in 1945 is quarter bound in navy cloth with blue paper covered sides. Although there is a little fading to the front board, the binding remains in good condition. The pages appear unread and superbly illustrated with several technical drawings. pp. 76. A fascinating copy and a must for any aviation enthusiast.
