This Air Publication no. 1318 is the official British Air Ministry technical manual dedicated to the Handley Page H.P. 24 Hyderabad, a twin engine biplane heavy bomber operated by the Royal Air Force. The manual provided a comprehensive pilot, rigging, and mechanical maintenance for the Hyderabad, which holds a specific place in British aviation history. Our copy, published in 1928 has been quarter bound in green cloth wth green cloth sides. There is a label to the front and a little wear to the binding, however, it remains in good condition. Ink stamps to the front and rear endpapers as well as the prelims. Most in German with one in English. The pages are clean and illustrated with technical drawings, several of which are folding. pp. x + 67. Another scarce title and part of a huge aviation collection just acquired by St Marys Books.
