Published By: The De Havilland Aircraft Company Ltd
A rare and highly collectible aviation technical manual originally published in the mid to late 1930's by the De Havilland Company Limited. It served as an essential and practical guide for servicing early variable-pitch and constant-speed propeller assemblies used extensively on British aircraft leading up to and during World War II. Our copy has been published with silver coloured buckram with printed titles to the front and metal fasteners. The manual shows signs of use with creasing and discolouration to the covers, and the text block has become detached. There is a little foxing to the prelims and occasionally throughout otherwise the pages are remarkably clean. Holes have been punched into the last page. Illustrated with several diagrams and black and white photographs. pp. 76. A must for any aviation enthusiast.
