Published in 1928, this rare technical manual offers maintenenace advice for the Gnome-Rhone Jupiter, a highly prominent 9 cylinder, air cooled radial aircraft engine manufactured in France during the 1920's and 1930's. Bound with paper covers the manual displays wear and discolouration, and the text block is partly detached. There has been an attempt at repair with tape along the front and rear internal hinges. The title page has a previous owner's label along the top edge and some of the colour from the front cover has leaked onto several pages underneath. The book is illustrated with several black and white photographs and diagrams with some folding to the rear. With French Text. Overall a rare and collectible title. A must for any aviation enthusiast.
