British And Other Supersonic Aircraft Development

Raymond F. Creasey

Published By: British Aircraft Corporation

Raymond F. Creasey OBE was a premier British aerodynamicist who played a critical role in the post-war development of supersonic aircraft. Serving as a chief designer and engineering director at English Electric and later the British Aircraft Corporation, Creasey's work fundamentally shaped the United Kingdom's Cold War interceptor and aerospace capabilities. This title has been spiral bound with blue card covers, and is in very good condition despite a few marks to the pages. There are seven publicity photogaphs loose to the rear, located in a glassine envelope. An unusual and rare title, and part of a huge aviation collection just acquired by St Marys Books.
