This fascinating manual is the original manufacturer's specification brochure or flight handbook for the Miles M.60 Marathon. This aircraft was designed by Miles Aircraft Limited to fulfil The Brabazon Committee Type Va, 5a requirement for a 14-20 seat, medium range civil transport. The initial design proposal and manual documentation were finalised in March 1946, shorlty before the prototype's first flight on May, 1946. This copy is ring bound in imitation black leather with "M6 and a feint 0" to the top of the spine. Overall a very good copy despite a little wear, the pages are clean and illustrated. A scarce manual and a must for any aviation enthusiast.
