A 78 page document which introduced mathematical models for inherent stability analysing both static and dynamical stability using wind tunnel testing to advance early 20th century aviation safety. This copy published in June 1916 as part of The Smithsonian Miscellaneous Collections, publication number 2414, volume 62, number 5. Our copy, bound with brown paper covers does display a little edge wear, creasing to the covers and curling to the corners. The pages are clean and in good condition, however there is a little creasing to the corners. A scarce original copy and a must for any aviation enthusiast.
