Black Puff Polly And Other Flights To Eternity is a compilation of first-person wartime memoirs, focusing heavily on the personnel of the 457th Bomb Group within the U.S. 8th Air Force during World War II. This copy published in 1991 is Edited by Lt Colonel Roland O. Byers and features his signature on a label affixed to the title page. There is a little lifting of the laminate to the pictorial card covers, although they remain clean and in good condition. The pages are clean with no marks or foxing, however, there is a small stain along the top edge of the text block. pp. 272. Overall a good copy with the added bonus of the author's signature and a must for any aviation enthusiast.
