Air Travel Official Handbook Of The Air Union The First Air Line in the World

Edition: First Edition

Published By: Air Union

Air Union was an early French airline formed in 1923 that eventually merged with several other companies in 1933 to create Air France. "The First Air Line in the World" was a point of pride reflecting its foundational French heritage in early commercial aviation. This early travel guide was published in 1920's or early 1930's and comes with a few articles of ephemera. An Air Union passenger guide and timetable, and excursion guide, freight guide, and a Folies Bergere photographic guide. The Air Union travel guide is bound with paper covers with adverts of the time to the front and rear endpapers, and throughout. The book is illustrated with many black and white photographic images and is in very good condition despite minor wear to the covers. A fascinating and scarce title. A must for any aviation enthusiast.
