Britain's Air Travel An Appraisement and Strategy for Success Signed by the Author

Sir Roy Fedden

Edition: First Edition

Published By: Cassell & Company Ltd.

This first edition copy published in 1957 has an inscription from the author to the half title page. The book serves as a critical, forward-thinking evaluation of British post-war aviation. Written by the legendary aeronautical engineer Sir Roy Fedden with an introduction by Edward Lanchbery. This copy is complete with its dust jacket, although it displays a little wear with small pieces missing from the extremities. Lightly repaired with small white blank pieces of paper to the underside. The blue cloth boards underneath are in very good condition, however there is a light lean to the spine. The pages are clean despite light foxing to the prelims and there is a newspaper clipping of Sir Roy Fedden's obituary stuck to the front free endpaper. pp. xxiv + 151. A scarce copy especially with Sir Roy Fedden's signature. A must for any aviation enthusiast.
