The Aircraft Rag, later renamed The Air-co Rag, was the official employee magazine of the Aircraft Manufacturing Company Limited, Airco. Airco, was a prominent British aircraft manufacturer founded in 1912 by George Holt Thomas in Hendon, England. The magazine was designed to keep factory workers informed and connected during the rapid expansion of aviation engineering in the early 20th Century. This small collection consists of, June 1917, disbound with a little foxing, small pencil inscription to the top o the front cover. August, 1917, a good copy, with just a little creasing, small pieces missing to the rear cover. October, 1917, a previous owner has laminated the front and rear cover which are detached from the contents, the pages are clean. January, 1918, a good copy with just a little foxing to the covers. March, 1918, a good copy, although covers and rear endpapers are foxed. August, 1919, a good copy, with the front cover a little discoloured. September, 1919, a good copy with light foxing to the covers. October, 1919, a very good clean copy. A scarce and invaluable source of information. A must for any aviation enthusiast.
