A Pioneer British Air Mail, Bath London 1912, is a rare, specialised work written and privately printed by the prominent philatelist Adrian E. Hopkins in 1929. The book documents one of the earliest experimental aeroplane mail flights in the United Kingdom, specifically tracking the flight path and postal history surrounding the 1912 flight from Bath to London. Ths copy has an inscription from the author to the front free endpaper. Bound in orange cloth with printed black titles to the front. This copy is in very good condition. There is a little discolouration to the boards although it still presents well. The pages are clean and the text block is tight with no loose pages, illustrated with several black and white photographs. pp. 23. A must for any any aviation enthusiast.
