Story of the R.A.A.F At War is a four volume commemorative book series published annually by the Australian War Memorial between 1942 and 1945. Prepared by the Royal Australian Air Force Directorate of public relations, these volumes chronicle the live experiences, strategic operations, and bravery of Australian airmen across global theatres in World War II. The series consists of These Eagles, published in 1942, RAAF Log, published in 1943, RAF Saga, published in 1944, Victory Roll, published in 1945. Our copies are all complete with their dust jackets, although worn with closed tears and chipping. These Eagles has some tape repair to the underside while RAAF Log has a large closed tear to the front. The cloth binding underneath are in very good condition. The pages are clean throughout each volume and illustrated with several historic photographs as well as colour illustrations. Overall an amazing set, and rare to find in four volumes. A must for any aviation enthusiast.
