Les Aeroplanes De La Guerre: Les Aeroplanes de 1916 a 1920 is an historic French aviation book written by Maurice Percheron and published in 1920. It documents the rapid technological evolution of military aircraft during the latter half of World War I and the immediate post-war era. Maurice Percheron was an influencial figure in early French aviation. In addition to being a prolific technical author, he worked directly in the industry as an engineer. Some of the aircraft featured in this book are Breguet, Handley Page, Gallaudet, Martinsyde, Caproni Halberstadt and Fokker plus others. Superbly quarter bound in rich red leather with marble paper covered sides with the original covers bound in. This is a superb copy. There is a little fading to the spine and the original covers display a little foxing otherwise the book is in very good condition. French Text. A rare copy of this title and a must for any aviation enthusiast.
