The definitive biography of Oskar Bider, a legendary Swiss aviation pioneer, written by Otto Walter. Oskar Bider was the first person to fly over the pyrenees and the first to cross the alps from Bern to Milan in both directions. He died at the age of 27 during a tragic aerobatic flight accident in Dubendorf. This copy published in 1920 has paper covers with a pictorial front. There are several historic photographs which enhances the text. The covers are in good condition despite a small closed tear to the top of the spine.The pages within are toned and there is a large inscription to the top of the title page. The rest of the pages remain clean. pp. viii + 80. German Text. Overall this is a good copy of a scarce title and a must for any aviation enthusiast.
