War Flying In France is a first-hand wartime memoir written by George A. Vaughn. Jr. America's second highest scoring air ace to survive World War I. This copy, published in 1980 is edited by Marvin L. Skelton. The book compiles Vaugn's letters and diaries detailing his combat experiences as a fighter pilot for both British and American air services. This copy is spiral bound with card covers and despite a little discolouration to the rear is in very good condition. The text is enhanced with several historic photographs. pp. 171. A rare copy and a must for any aviation enthusiast.
