Model Flying Machines Their Design and Construction is an historic aviation book written by Wilfred Gordon Aston and published circa 1910 by ILiffe & Sons Limited in association with The Aero Magazine. As one of the earliest technically grounded guides to pre-war aeromodelling, it translates basic aerodynamic principles into functional layouts for hobbyists of the pioneering era. Our copy has thick card covers with a pictorial to the front. The book is illustrated with several diagrams with adverts of the time to the rear. Overall a good copy despite loss to the corners and the spine has become partially detached. The pages are free of any marks or foxing. pp. 130 + 3. A scarce edition and a must for any aviation enthusiast.
