Aeronautical Classics No. 2 Aerial Locomotion is an aviation text written by engineer and pioner Francis Herbert Wenham and republished in 1910 by the Aeronautical Society of Great Britain. This publication is a reprint of Wenham's groundbreaking 1866 essay, On Aerial Locomotion, and is widely considered one of the most influential papers in the history of aviation. This copy, bound in blue paper covers, is in good condition. The front cover shows slight fading and a minor mark. This mark also bleeds through slightly to the underlying half title page. There is also a previous owner's signature to this page. The rest of the pages remain clean. Illustrated with a frontispiece portrait of the author. pp. x + 45 +3. A scarce copy and a must for any aviation enthusiast.
