Germany's Last Knight of the Air The Memoirs of Major Carl Degelow is a World War I aviation biography, translated, compiled and edited by prominent military historian Peter Kilduff. Published in London by William Kimber in 1979, the book provides an invaluable English-language look into the aerial combat experiences of Germany's final wartime air hero. This copy has a large inscription to his friend Chaz Bowyer from Peter Kilduff, together with Chaz Bowyer's ink stamp to the base of the title page. The unclipped dust jacket display's a little edge wear especially along the top, as well as a little toning. The pages within are free of any foxing and are superbly illustrated. pp. 218. Overall a good copy and scarce to find with an inscription from the editor. A must for any aviation enthusiast.
