Die deutschen Luftstreitkrafte im Weltkriege is a seminal historical and technical military text compiled by Major Georg Paul Neumann, a retired officer of the German air force. Published in 1920 by E.S.Mittler & Sohn, this is the first German Edition. It compiles official records alongside detailed contributions from 29 military and naval air service officers and officials and is highly regarded as the primary source of information for World War I aviation. The book is quarter bound in cloth with paper covered sides and is profusely illustrated with many historic photographs. Overall a good copy despite some loss to the corners and a closed tear to the rear outer hinge. The pages are toned and the occasional sentence is underlined by red pen. This copy has the unique advantage of being signed by Henry Hegener, a prominent Dutch aviator. pp. x + 600 Overall a good copy and a must for any aviation enthusiast.
