Jane's Pocket Aeronautical Dictionary is a rare reference book compiled and published during the First World War. Edited by the prominent British aviation journalist C.G. Grey, this pocket sized volume was an easy accessible guide to the rapidly advanicng terminology of early 20th century aviation. This copy is bound with blue paper covers with printed black titles to the front and an advert to the rear. Adverts also feature to the prelims and rear of the book and occasionally throughout. There are also two folding technical illustrations of a plane. The covers show wear, with a small chip missing from the front surface. The spine is chipped at both the head and tail. There are numerous pen notations, marks and the four memoranda pages, to the rear of the book, have been filled in. Despite its flaws, this is still a fascinating little book and a must for any aviation enthusiast.
