The Search For The Lost Lost Mail Plane is the second installment in Theiss's popular The Air Mail Series. The story centers around a reserve pilot in the United States Air Mail Service named Jimmy Donnelly. When his close friend suddenly disappears, Jimmy launches a daring rescue mission. This First edition copy, published in 1928 is complete with its dust jacket. The dust jacket is in fair condition only with chipping, missing pieces and wear. The navy cloth boards underneath still present well, depsite a little bumping and fading. The text block is firm and the pages are lightly toned although clean. The book is illustrated with a photographic frontispiece. pp. 304. A scarce title and rare to find complete with its dust jacket.
