Beyond The Tumult written by Barry Winchester details the historic July 1918 tunnel escape of Allied officers from a German prisoner of war camp during World War I. This copy, published in 1971, has an inscription from the author on the verso of the half-title page. The dust jacket is in good condition despite a liitle edge wear with fading to the spine. There is a book plate to the front free endpaper otherwise a good clean copy, illustrated with several historic images. pp. xv + 207. Overall a good copy and a must for any aviation enthusiast.
