L'Aerophile was a pioneering French aviation magazine published from 1893 to 1947. Around 1910, it was widely considered the leading aeronautical magazine in the world. It served as the official publication of the influential Aero-Club de France. This bound volume consists of magazines from January to December with magazines released on the 1st and 15th of each month. This copy is quarter bound in burgundy cloth with marble paper covered sides. The binding displays a little loss to the corners and rear board as well as a split to the cloth down the rear outer spine hinge. There are white numerical marks to the base of the spine. Internally the pages display a few pen & pencil notations as well as inks stamps to the first two pages. The rest of the pages are clean despite some age-related discolouration. pp. 432.
