Edition: First Australian Edition
Published By: Collins
Publication Date: 1951
This copy of They Came To Baghdad written by Agatha Christie and published in 1951, is the first Australian Edition, released at the same time as the UK First Edition. The dustjacket, unlike the standard typographic UK Crime Club edition, features a unique pictorial dust jacket designed by the artist Kookie. Underneath lie orange cloth boards with printed titles in black to the spine. Overall this is a very clean, bright copy. The dustjacket displays only light fading to the spine while the binding, preserved by the dustjacket is in excellent condition. There is some age-related toning to the pages, however there is no foxing or marks. pp. 254. A wonderful copy and a must for any Agatha Christie enthusiast.
