Treasure Island is a classic novel of adventure of pirates on the high seas, wriiten by Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson. This 1920 edition, has been bound in soft black leather with embossed detail and titles to the front, ornate gilt decoration and titles to the spine. The book is illustrated with a map as the frontispiece. Overall, this is a good copy despite loss of leather to the top right hand corner and to the top and base of the spine. There is also a little fading to the spine. The text block remains quite firm despite minor cracking to the internal hinge, and the pages are remarkably clean. pp. 373. Overall a good copy of a classic story.
