St Mary's Books is proud to present The Folio Society's 2013 edition of Eric Ambler's 1938 espionage thriller Epitaph for a Spy - with a count of 220 pages as well as an introduction by former MI5 Director-General Dame Stella Rimington (xi-xvi) and preface (xvii-xviii). In this novel, Ambler tells a story of a regular man forced to take on the role of a spy whilst on holiday on the Côte d'Azur and tension ensues in true Ambler style. This particular edition is bound with gorgeous navy blue pictorial cloth and it is housed in a black slipcase. The interior of this edition is adorned with several unique illustrations by Paul Blow. There are few notable blemishes on this copy, with only some light marking on the front cover's pictorial. This would be a perfect book for any fans of thriller novels or Eric Ambler's work.
