Biggles Takes The Case is a classic aviation adventure collection written by Captain W.E. Johns. The stories are set in the post World War II era where Air Detectvie-Inspector James Bigglesworth heads up the newly formed Scotland Yard Air Police. This copy published in 1952 is a first edition second impression. The book features a pictorial dust jacket and interior line drawings by Leslie Stead. The dust jacket is worn with chipping and closed tears to the spine. The red cloth boards are intact, though the front board exhibits some mild bowing. The rear rear endpaper has been removed. However, the text block remains exceptionally clean, bright and free of markings throughout. pp. 189. A must for any Biggles enthusiast.
