This lovely edition of "The Milwaukee Road East: America's Resourceful Railroad" by Patrick C. Dorin is now in the possession of St Mary's Books. Beneath the beautiful orange dustjacket which features Russ Porter's painting, "The Meeting of the Hiawatha Tribe", this red hardback book has gilt lettering to its spine. Inside, one finds 175 pages of text, including indicies, largely dominated by black and white photographs of various trains and routes, complete with descriptions by the author. This book is in very good condition, meaning there are no visible blemishes to the inside, though the dustjacket appars slightly worn and bumped. This book is looking for a new home, and would make for a perfect gift for any US train enthusiast.
