This lovely 1998 first edition of "Keeping Our Little Corner Clean 1942-1943", a collection of George Orwell's known works from that time period, edited by Peter Davison, is now in the possession of St Mary's Books. Beyond the eyecatching purple covers with bright orange text, this paperback book contains 380 pages of text including indicies. Inside, one finds a variety of Orwell's works - from his writing for the BBC, to his private letters and wartime diaries, to his telegrams, news commentaries, and notes. This book is in good to very good condition - there is some slight bumping and the pages are yellowed - but otherwise the copy is clean, readable, and appears largely untouched. This lovely book is looking for a new home, and would be the perfect gift for any Orwell enthusiasts or historians.
