This lovely 1949 revised edition of "The Magic of a Name" by Harold Nockolds, featuring beautiful illustrations by Roy Nockolds, is now in the possession of St Mary's Books. Beneath the charming original dustjacket, this hardback book is bound in a lovely cream cloth, and features gold gilt lettering to the cover and spine. Inside, one finds 283 pages of text (including indicies), detailing the inception and rise of Rolls-Royce. This book is in good condition - though the dustjacket is singificantly bumped and worn and thus can only be described as fair, apart from some discoloration to the spine, the book itself remains a clean and readable copy, remarkable for its age. This book is looking for a new home, and would make for a perfect gift for any Rolls-Royce enthusiasts.
