This lovely January 1946 first edition of "Biggles Delivers the Goods" by Captain W. E. Jones is now in the possession of St Mary's Books. Beneath the vibrant illustrated dustjacket, this hardback book is bound in red cloth with black ink lettering to the cover and spine. Inside, beyond the blue ink map of the Bay of Bengal to the free endpapers, and the full-colour illustration of a man in the jungle to the frontispiece, one finds 182 pages of text, peppered with similar black and white illustrations. This book is in good condition - despite some bumping and tearing to the dustjacket, and minor foxing to the book itself, it remaisn a clean and readable copy, remarkable for its age and rarity. This book is looking for a new home, and would be a perfect gift for any Biggles enthusiast.
