This lovely 1940 first edition of "Biggles - Secret Agent" by Captain W. E. Johns is now in the possession of St Mary's Books. This hardback book is bound in a lovely blue cloth and features black ink lettering and illustrations to the cover and spine, of a man parachuting and of a plane flying over treetops. Inside, one finds 255 pages of text, peppered with charming black ink illustrations. This book is in good condition, though there is some slight bumping, staining, and wear, this is more than fair for the age and rarity of the edition. This book is looking for a new home, and would be a perfect gift for any Biggles enthusiasts.
