This lovely 1957 first edition of "Biggles Makes Ends Meet" by Captain W. E. Johns is now in the possession of St Mary's Books. Beneath the vibrant dustjacket featurinng men reaching towards the reader, this hardback book is bound in a bright crimson cloth with black ink lettering and illustrations of ships. Inside, beyond the stunning full-colour frontispiece of Ginger loosing his balance, this book has 192 pages of text supplemented by similar full page full-colour illustrations. This book is in good condition, though the dustjacket has singifcant rips and bumps and thus can only be described as fair, the book itself remains clean and readable with few notable imperfections. This book is looking for a new home, and would make for a perfect gift for any Biggles enthusiasts.
