This lovely 1942 first edition of "Sky Freighter: A story of bush pilots who fly freight to the radium mines of Arctic Canada" by Howard M. Brier, is now in the possession of St Mary's Books. Beneath the beautiful dustjacket, illustrated by Willard Rosenquist, of a Sky Frieghter set against a teal background, this hardback book is bound in a silver coloured cloth, and features blue and red ink lettering and decorations to its cover and spine, and red top edge staining. Inside, one finds 277 pages of text, peppered with Willard Rosenquist's charming illustrations. This book is in good condition - though the dustjacket is considerably bumped and torn and thus can only be described as fair, the book itself remains remarkably clean and readable given its age. This book is looking for a new home, and would be the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiasts.
