This lovely 1984 first edition of "Zeppelin! A Battle for Air Supremacy in World War I" by Raymond Laurence Rimell, is housed in its original dustjacket, featuring a full-colour painting by the author of a Zeppelin in flight at night. Underneath, this hardback book is bound in navy cloth with gold gilt lettering to its spine. This book has 256 pages of text, supplemented with numerous black and white photographs, illustrations, original documents and tables, detailing the complete story of the Zeppelin offensive from its inception to the destruction of L53, the last Zeppelin to be brought down in combat. This book is in very good condition - there are few notable blemishes to its dustjacket, exterior, and interior, and the book appears virtually unread. This book is looking for a new home, and would make for a perfect gift for any avid WW1 aviation historians.
