The Messerschmitt 109 A Famous German Fighter

Heinz J. Nowarra

Edition: First

Illustrated By: W. F. Hepworth and F. A. Yeoman

Published By: Harleyford Publications Limited

This lovely 1963 first edition of "The Messerschmitt 109 A Famous German Fighter" by Heinz J. Nowarra is housed in its original bright yellow dustjacket, featuring a painting by J. D. Carrick depiciting two Bf 109's diving. Bound in bright green cloth with gold gilt lettering to the spine, this hardback book has 184 pages of text, peppered with black and white photographs, tone paintings, original drawings, full-colour insignia, and more. This book, which tells the story of the Messerschmitt 109, the longest lived of all fighter aircraft and arguably one of the most famous, is in very good condition. Though there are some closed tears to the dustjacket, and some offsetting where they have been repaired, as well as a home library paste-down to the front free endpaper - there are few other notable imperfections, and this book is in good condition for a copy of this age and rarity. This intruiging book is looking for a new home, and would make for a perfect gift for any aviation enthusiasts.
