This text, which is a survey of the development of the art of ballooning, is complete with several black and white photographs and black ink illustrations of several mechanisms and feats of ballooning. This book is in good condition, though there is some slight wearing and bumping to the spine, and though there is a paste-down and stamp on the free endpapers - the book remains otherwise clean and readable, and in remarkably good condition considering its age. "Airships Past and Present" is looking for a new home, and would make for a perfect gift for any aviation enthusiasts.
