St Mary's Books is proud to present this signed circa 1908 Presentation Copy of "Le Probleme de l'Aviation et sa solution par l'aeroplane" by M. Armengaude Jeune. Encased in a later hardback binding with stunning pictoral boards, quarter dark green and navy leather, marbled free endpapers, and top-edge staining, the original red paper covers have been well preserved inside. This text has i-viii and 86pp., supplemented by black ink diagrams and black and white photographs, it recounts, in French, the ideas on contemporary aviation that Jeune shared at a conference on the 16th February 1908, specifically his ideas on aviation mechanics. This edition is in very good condition, the later binding is lightly bumped, but the original text remains clean and readable, and has been well protected. "Le Probleme de l'Aviation" is looking for a new home, and would be a perfect gift for any vintage French aviation enthusiasts.
