St Mary's Books is proud to present this stunning 1836 first edition of "Account of the late Aeronautical Expedition from London to Weilburg, Accomplished by Robert Hollond, Esq., Monck Mason, Esq., and Charles Green, Aeronaut" by Monck Mason. Bound in its original burgundy softcover with a black and gold title label on the cover, this book contains 54 pages of text relaying Monck Mason's account of this pivotal journey. This wonderful slice of history is in fair condition - there is an ex-libris paste down on the front free endpaper, one of the free endpapers is ripped, and the title page is loose. However, other than some minor foxing and ink stains on pages 28-29, this copy is remarkably clean and readable given its age and rarity. This little book is looking for a new home, and would make for a perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
