This lovely 1892 edition of "En Ballon Libre!: Extrait de l'Annuaire du Club Alpin Francais" by G. Gaupillat is in its original paper binding, with black ink lettering and decorations. Inside one finds 22 pages of text (in French), supplemented by maps, diagrams and black ink illustrations, detailing the course of a balloon journey. This book is in good condition - though the original paper covers can only be described as fair as they are ripped and worn in places, the pages inside have been well protected, and are clean and readable. Thsi book is looking for a new home, and would make for a perfect gift for any late 19th century french ballooning enthusiast.
